Facility-Related Control System (FRCS)

Facility-Related Control System (FRCS) refers to the control systems that enable essential utilities, including humidity control, fire protection, temperature, electrical, mechanical, etc, the controlling devices for these systems, and standard IT that work together to achieve an objective. FRCS cybersecurity refers to protecting these access controls from bad actors seeking to exploit this system, resulting in blocking the objective. Examples include providing heating and cooling and maintaining a specific pressure or temperature.
